KUALA LUMPUR, May 18 — Malaysian post-hardcore band Sekumpulan Orang Gila (SOG) recently won the Intermedia-globe Silver award with Media Prima’s promo video, Kitalah Juara, at the World Media Festival in Hamburg, Germany.

The World Media Festival is a global competition for modern media which honours excellent solutions in Corporate Film, Television, Web, Web TV and Print productions on an international scale.

Taken from the band’s second album Bahtera, the song became the official theme song for Liga Super Malaysia 2015 by Media Prima.

“This is a huge landmark for a small band like us. Thank you for those who supported us, we hope that this achievement can be an inspiration for us to further improve ourselves. InsyaAllah,” the band said on their Facebook.

Aside from that, Media Prima also won two intermedia-globe Gold awards for NTV7’s Feel Good documentaries and live streaming of the Piala Malaysia finals, as well as another Silver award for Bella Awards promo trailers. — TheHive.Asia
