LOS ANGELES, May 17 — With five Grammys and 21 World Music Awards to her name, singer-songwriter and actress Mariah Carey is to be the star and subject of a new eight-part reality TV show.

Filmed during Mariah’s Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour that took place in Europe and South Africa in March, April and early May, Mariah’s World tracks not only the multi-award winning singer’s performance preparations but also her plans for marriage to Australian businessman James Packer.

The E! Entertainment network is to broadcast the show, whose trailer was released as NBC announced its 2016-17 programming schedule. — AFP-Relaxnews
