LOS ANGELES, May 10 ― The release date for Pitch Perfect 3 has been moved up a month from August to July 2017.

According to Variety, the third installment of the film about an all-girls a capella singing group will hit cinemas July 21, 2017, instead of its original release date of Aug. 4.

Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson will return to reprise their roles, with Elizabeth Banks directing.

Plot details have not yet been disclosed.

The original film grossed US$113 million (RM457.8 million) worldwide, while the second installment grossed US268 million worldwide.
