KUALA LUMPUR, May 8 — Look at the picture above. Do you see anything out of place?
Nothing abnormal, you say? Well, look closer to the right of the picture, and you may notice what appears to be a ghostly white figure of a girl with her teddy, hovering on top of a roof of a building overlooking the crowd at the Good Life Festival in Brisbane recently.
The picture of the 'ghost' — dubbed simply as ‘Lucy’ — was confirmed by the promoters of the under-18 music festival through one of their photographers who managed to capture the apparition on camera.
Good Life Festival promoters then released an official statement which reads:
Needless to say, the picture has since been widely circulating on the Internet and is causing a stir on social media with some users accusing the festival’s promoters of a ‘sick marketing ploy’ and some others even entering into fiery debates on the existence of ghosts.
“Hate to be ‘that’ guy but the dude that first pointed out the photo is a promoter / dj for the festival sooo ya you can put the rest of it together. soz but this is lame,” said one user on Facebook.

Another user by the name of Michael Gitsham attempted to shed some light on ‘Lucy’: “I know the story well from being in the RNA. The ghost who haunts the sheds was rumoured to be the daughter of Mr McConnel; the presidents daughter of the RNA. Lucy Jane McConnel. In 1908, when watching the fireworks display at the end of the Royal Exhibition on the final night; she stood to get a better view with her teddy in her hand, then a gust of wind caused her to loose [sic] her step. She fell to her death down the roof. She was just 8 years old...”
The festival promoters are still trying to confirm the information received by various sources and have promised to investigate the matter further.
