LOS ANGELES, May 4 — Arnold Schwarzenegger is set star in upcoming action comedy Why We’re Killing Gunther reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The film is the directorial debut of Saturday Night Live’s Taran Killam, who also wrote the script.
Killam, whose previous film credits also include The Heat and 12 Years a Slave, will also star alongside Schwarzenegger in the movie.
Also confirmed are Killam’s wife, actress Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother), SNL’s Bobby Moynihan, Paul Brittain (Hotel Transylvania 2), Kumail Nanjiani from (Silicon Valley), Randall Park (The Interview) and Ryan Gaul (Identity Thief).
The film will tell the story of a group of eccentric international assassins who decide to kill fellow hitman Gunther, who also happens to be the best in the world. However their plan soon goes awry, embarrassing the group with their failed attempts as Gunther always appears to be one step ahead them.
Schwarzenegger was last seen in Terminator Genisys and the zombie drama Maggie.— AFP-Relaxnews
