LOS ANGELES, April 28 — There seem to be more movies involving space exploration now following The Martian and this new one by Paramount Pictures is titled Approaching the Unknown.

This first trailer follows astronaut William D. Stanaforth (played by Mark Strong), sent on a one way solo mission as part of humanity’s first steps toward colonising Mars. Watched by the entire world, he is completely alone, and when the trip takes a toll on the ship’s life support systems, he is forced to make impossible choices that threaten his sanity, mission and very existence.

Luke Wilson, Sanaa Lathan, Anders Danielsen Lie, and Charles Baker also star in the film which is set for release on June 3.
