MUMBAI, April 25 — The battle between Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut seems to be getting even more out of control.

Both stars have been at each other’s throats, slamming more legal notices and police reports against each other.

Before you get lost in the whole drama, here’s a quick refresher: According to India.com, the fiasco started after Kangana had referred to Hrithik as her “silly ex” although she didn’t actually name him. Hrithik on his part took to Twitter to deny the rumours of their alleged love affair and bitter break-up.

That’s not all, following claims of email exchanges, Hrithik submitted copies of some of the emails that were sent to him from the actress' email account to the cops which suggest that the actor was never interested in Kangana. In fact the emails suggest that the actress herself has written that she was in an “imaginary relationship” with him.

Hrithik is also stressing his innocence by claiming that Kangana was apparently communicating with an imposter on a fake email ID and not with him.

Kangana’s side has maintained that the two regularly used to communicate through emails and that Hrithik was in a relationship with her, having even proposed to her in Paris.

According to a DNA report, a police source is quoted as saying that Hrithik was not in Paris around the time the supposed proposal was made. “...It’s evident that she carried forward her communication of six months with the imposter. He has received over 3,000 emails from her and we have established that no mails were sent to her from his email. His phone records prove that he has made four calls to her in seven years. His passport copies prove he was not in Paris when she claimed they’d got engaged. We are convinced he is innocent,” says the police source.

Hrithik has taken to Twitter to post cryptic tweets about the whole situation by sharing that when the world starts doubting you, it is not only the time to prove them wrong, but also a test of your own beliefs.

“When people call you names, the universe is not testing whether you can prove them wrong. It’s testing your own belief in your own name. #knowUrName.”

We’re not sure what actually happened between the both of them, but for the sake of Bollywood fans the world over, we really do hope the truth will finally be revealed.
