KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 ― In anticipation of Jon Favreau’s live-action, CGI reimagining of The Jungle Book ― releasing nationwide this weekend ― the team at Honest Trailers is back with a brutally honest recap of Walt Disney’s 1967 iteration, and boy, it’s not pretty.

We’ve got to admit that, while we’re quite fond of the Disney classic, we found ourselves chuckling along as Screen Junkies laid into the cartoon, finding fault with the little-to-no plot lines, animals getting inappropriately handsy with the orphan Mowgli.

That said, we can’t wait to watch Screen Junkies take on the live-action version of the Jungle Book!
