LONDON, April 14 — It has been confirmed that British actor Benedict Cumberbatch will be voicing the Grinch in upcoming movie How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

The news was revealed yesterday at Universal’s presentation at CinemaCon.

The film will be an animated version of the story, and will follow the 2000 adaptation that starred Taylor Momsen as Cindy Lou and Jim Carrey in the main role as the Grinch.
