LOS ANGELES, April 12 — Clint Eastwood’s son is the latest addition to the latest instalment of Universal Studios’ fast car franchise.
Scott Eastwood is in such demand at the moment that by the time Fast 8 hits cinema screens, he could well be a big enough star in his own right to avoid being mentioned in the same breath as his legendary father.
Yesterday, Universal confirmed that Eastwood has signed on to play an entirely new character in the hugely popular franchise. He will be staring alongside Charlize Theron, who joined the cast earlier this month and who is tipped to play the film’s villain.
The eighth Fast and Furious film will arrive in cinemas in April 2017 but before that Eastwood will be staring in Suicide Squad this August and in Oliver Stone’s film about whistle-blower Edward Snowden in September. — AFP-Relaxnews
