LAS VEGAS, March 16 — It looks like Austin “Chumlee” Russell is in a whole lot of trouble that he might find a little harder to wriggle out of this time.

The Pawn Stars fan favourite was arrested on March 9, after police allegedly found weapons and drugs at his Las Vegas home.

According to a police report cited by People magazine, they found 12 guns, including handguns, rifles and assault-style MP5, as well as a gallon plastic bag with marijuana, a small quantity of methamphetamine and various drug paraphernalia.

The report even goes so far as to suggest that Chumlee might be a dealer, due to the sheer amount of drugs and drug-related items found.

“It should also be noted that the amount of narcotics, narcotics paraphernalia and narcotics-related items found throughout the residence suggests (Russell) openly allows and participates in the unlawful use and possession of narcotics,” the report continued.

“Many of these items are commonly found with persons who package and sell controlled substances, i.e., plastic baggies and digital scales.”

Officers had originally visited the 33-year-old reality star as part of a sexual assault investigation, but ended up arresting him on 19 weapon and drug charges after conducting a search of his home.

At time of writing, no charges have officially been filed against him.

He was released from jail after posting a US$62,000 (RM256,444) bail.

An unnamed source told People last week that Russell is known for his hard partying and love of women.

In fact, USA Today reported that the house has a “Chum Chum Room with Dance Pole.”

The History Channel, which airs Pawn Stars, has yet to comment publicly on the arrest, but a source close to the network told People last week, “They are just letting the justice system play out for right now.”

Russell is scheduled to appear in court on May 23.
