KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 — In its first week, Syamsul Yusof's Munafik collected RM4.3 million at the local box office shortly after grossing RM2.3 million in its first four days of release.

The latest update says that the film has now made RM8.5 million after 11 days.

We're sure the Khurafat director is a happy man as he had once said that he would be satisfied if his film grossed RM4 million.

Munafik follows the story of a Muslim faith healer who cannot move past the death of his wife. A patient suffering from mental health problem then comes into his life, thinking that he could treat her. The patient believes that his health problem isn't medical in nature, but of supernatural phenomena.

The film produced by Skop Production stars Pekin Ibrahim, Nabila Huda, Fizz Fairuz and also Syamsul Yusof.

If you have not watched the movie yet, it is now showing in cinemas nationwide. — Cinema Online
