DETROIT, Feb 6 — Mike Skupin, a former contestant from the second season of Survivor, has been arrest for a string of charges, including possession of child pornography, according to Fox2Detroit.com.
After his participation in the show, Skupin moved back to Detroit and started a financial sharing business called ‘Pay It Forward’.
He was arraigned yesterday on six counts of possession of child sexual abusive materials, five counts of larceny by conversion and one count of racketeering, conducting a criminal enterprise, according to the news portal.
In a statement after the charges were released, Attorney-General Bill Schuette said, “Not only did this man rob people of their hard earned savings with his financial scams but he victimised innocent children every time he looked at a piece of child pornography.”
Skupin, who was on the reality show twice, is an inductee in Survivor’s Hall of Shame, and at one point of the show, was burnt in a fire and had to be medically evacuated off the island where the show was shot.
