LOS ANGELES, Jan 8 — Fox has released a very ’80s inspired couch gag that reimagines Homer, Flanders (as bad guy Fernando Whitmore), and the rest of Springfield through the lens of a retro crime show called La-Z Rider.

The intro for “The Simpsons” is better known as the Couch Gag and has managed to stay fresh after all these years with extended specials every now and then. This couch gag will run this coming for a new “The Simpsons” episode called “Teenage Mutant Milk-Caused Hurdles”.

For the upcoming episode’s introduction, “The Simpsons” travel to an alternate reality inspired by the Miami Vice. Ned Flanders plays the bad guy (but of course!), with Sideshow Bob, Snake, Bart, Lisa, Chief Wiggum, Marge, Apu, Willie, Dr Nick, Moleman, Fat Tony, Lenny, and Carl all making appearances.
