He will perform a few warm-up gigs in China, beginning Saturday, in preparation for his world tour that will kick off in December.

So far, various entertainment sites have reported that Rain will heading to Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and North America.

The concerts will see him on the road well into 2016.

Apparently, fans can expect a different type of stage show from Rain that will involve more “passionate performances” that draw from his personal experiences.

The announcement comes after the 33-year-old singer confirmed the release of a new single next month, as well as a concert in Seoul where he hopes to reconnect with his fans.

Rain was last booked to perform in Kuala Lumpur as part of the Twin Towers Alive concert in March 2014. Unfortunately, he never got to take the stage as the event was cancelled.

At time of writing, no further details are known about Rain’s new concert date in Malaysia.
