LOS ANGELES, Sept 23 — What can you expect with Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale and Steve Carell in one movie? An exciting movie like “The Big Short” of course.  

Set in 2005, the film centres around four men who bet against the banks and made millions prior to the 2008 financial crisis.

Michael Lewis chronicled this ragtag team’s financial misadventures in his acclaimed non-fiction book “The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine”, and now “Anchorman” director Adam McKay is bringing the story to screen.

"The Big Short" is set to hit theatres on December 25.
