LOS ANGELES, Sept 10 — Emily Blunt may have passed her passed her US citizenship test, but can she ace Jimmy Kimmel’s “real” American test?

The “Sicario” actress was on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” yesterday to promote her new movie when Kimmel expressed how excited he was that Blunt recently became a US citizen.

“I hope you know how thrilled I am that you're one of us now,” Kimmel told Blunt.

“Really? Did you not like that I wasn't before?” Blunt replied.

“I’m not sure I’m entirely thrilled about it. People ask me about the whole day. They were like, ‘Oh, it must have been so emotional.’ I was like, ‘It wasn’t! It was sad!’ I like being British.” Then, she described the swearing-in ceremony.

“It was the most bizarre day. Matthew McConaughey‘s wife [Camila Alves] was getting sworn in with me, who is so nice. McConaughey shows up looking like he’s going on safari. I was like, ‘You could have worn a shirt and tie. Like, Camila looks amazing,’”

Kimmel then decided to give Blunt his own version of the test and watched in amusement as she failed miserably. The late-night host asked the really tough, important questions like “What are the giant refillable sodas at 7-Eleven called?”

Needless to say, it was hilarious!
