KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 24 — Popular local actress Nora Danish Hanif, popularly known as Nora Danish, has split up with her boyfriend Nedim Nazri, according to a report by the New Straits Times today.

The couple had been dating for several years, but recently decided to end their relationship, with the 33-year-old actress saying that it was a mutual decision to split up.

“We decided to end the relationship and just be friends. Both of us have accepted this and hopefully fans can continue to pray for our well beings,” she said, as quoted by the NST.

Mother-of-one Nora declined to comment on what prompted the breakup, and said she wanted to focus on her career.

She said, “There’s no reason to hold on to memories. I prefer not to talk about it anymore. I believe everything happens for a reason.”

Previously, both Nora and 31-year-old Nedim — who is the son of Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz — were actively uploading shots taken together on their respective Instagram accounts, but rumours of the breakup started circulating after this stopped several weeks ago.

Nora was previously married to Toh Muda Rizal Ashram Ramli, the son of Yang Dipertua Dewan Rakyat Malaysia Tan Sri Ramli Ngah Talib, and they have a son, Putra Rayqal Ramli Rizal Ashram, six, while Nedim also has a son, Mohamed Nedrin, three, from his previous marriage with Nabilah Khan.
