LOS ANGELES, July 31 — Australian actress Yvonne Strahovski, best known for her role in NBC’s series “Chuck” (2007-2012), has accepted the leading lady role as Beth in Amazon’s western drama series pilot “Edge,” co-starring with Max Martini and Ryan Kwanten.

Beth is a detective and a newcomer in the town of Seward, Kansas, a no-man’s-land that’s heavy with gun slinging and bounty hunting, Variety reports.

Based on the books by author George Gilman, the story revolves around Martini’s character Edge, who seeks vengeance for the killing of his younger brother.— AFP-Relaxnews
