KUALA LUMPUR, July 29 — A free Raya concert featuring some of the biggest names in the local music scene will be held at Oasis Piazza in Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, on August 15, 2015, 8.30pm.

Titled as “Konsert Raya”, the one-day-only concert will feature R&B pop crooner Anuar Zain, queen of rock Ella, rising YouTube sensation Elizabeth Tan, rock legend Man Kidal and soulful Penang songstress Dasha Logan.

The two-hour-long event will have Cheryl Samad as the host, The Rakyat Post reports.

“Just as how music brings people together, we hope to unite Malaysians at this Raya concert with not just great food and great music, but also a chance to celebrate the occasion with underprivileged children,” said Mohamad Hassan Zakarian, Oasis Piazza Executive Director.

Also, selected concert-goers will be given the opportunity for a meet-and-greet session with the stars after their performance.

Coinciding with the end of the Syawal month, the event is the perfect way to wrap up Hari Raya Aidilfitri. — TheHive.Asia
