LONDON, July 21 — Aardman Animations announced yesterday that a 30-minute special entitled “Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer’s Llamas” is to air internationally by year-end.

In the special episode, Shaun and the flock will be joined by three llamas named Hector, Fernando and Raul, according to the official website shaunthesheep.com.

“When the Farmer and Bitzer go to a County Fair...,” reads the show’s description, “Shaun spies an auction where he sees three exotic and very crafty Llamas going under the hammer.”

After convincing the farmer to buy them, Shaun convinces the rest of the flock that the new arrivals are just what they need, but things soon “spiral out of control,” and “Shaun is forced to take action to oust the intruders and save the farm”.

The beloved character Shaun the Sheep is the focus of a namesake TV show — a spin-off of “Wallace and Gromit” — as well as a movie that hit theaters this year and releases in North America next month. — AFP-Relaxnews
