TAIPEI, July 20 — Taiwanese-British actor Rhydian Vaughan is going to be a dad!

The 27-year-old heartthrob dropped the bombshell on his fans yesterday, via a Facebook post, the Straits Times reported today.

Vaughan wrote, in part, “Very happy to share with everyone. I’m about to enter another stage of life. I’m going to become a father!”

The newspaper said his manager confirmed the news, saying Vaughan and his girlfriend, Taiwan surfer Jessie Hong, will consider wedding plans after the baby’s birth.

The couple have been together for two years.

Vaughan first found fame as Ethan Ruan and Mark Chao’s gangster friend Dragon Lee in “Monga”.

He is currently in London filming the Chinese remake of the Julia Roberts-Cameron Diaz romantic comedy “My Best Friend’s Wedding”, opposite Shu Qi and William Feng, the newspaper added.
