LONDON, June 26 — One Direction fans have been left delighted at the news that the group is set to launch a new fragrance.
The band announced the news that they have been working on their fourth scent, “Between Us,” by revealing a hilarious campaign video that has “Directioners” going wild.
The tongue-in-cheek film sees the foursome returning from various extreme travels to bring back the special ingredients for the new perfume, including mountain freesia, amber, an apricot and the tears of band member Niall Horan.
The clip starts with Harry Styles climbing up a mountain in a snowstorm to retrieve a precious flower, before a wet-suited Liam Payne arrives and throws the amber he has retrieved from the seabed into the mix. Louis Tomlinson contributes an organic “space apricot,” while Niall Horan brings back an onion in order to elicit the precious teardrop.

Social media reacted with glee, reposting the band’s link to the new commercial over 60,000 times on Twitter. Fans’ comments included “#1Dfragrance #BETWEENUS this is the best perfume commercial I’ve ever seen!”
Between Us comprises fruity mandarin and apricot nectar notes with a floral heart of jasmine flowers, freesia and gardenia petals. Patchouli, vanilla and golden amber add a candied element to the scent.
One Direction has seen great success with its previous perfumes, which include “You & I,” “That Moment,” and the debut fragrance “Our Moment.”
