LOS ANGELES, June 20 — One of TV’s favourite fictional couples, Homer and Marge Simpson from 'The Simpsons', yesterday released a video statement regarding the state of their marriage to debunk rumours flying around about their divorce, in a video published by Fox’s Animation Domination YouTube channel.

According to Marge, the video was made to address “baseless rumours” about their split, first reported by CNN, followed by “real news” all over the world.

The video came after an interview on the Variety news portal with ‘The Simpsons’ executive produce Al Jean, who said, “Homer and Marge legally separate, and Homer falls in love with his pharmacist, who’s voiced by Lena Dunham,” when asked what’s ahead in the 27th season of the long-running animated series.

That seems unlikely as Homer declared, “Margery and I are as solid as a rock!” in the video statement, while a banner saying “Together Forever” hung above them.
