LONDON, Feb 12 — The Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig picture “Spectre” is currently filming in Europe, and behind the scenes footage shows aspects of what associate producer Gregg Wilson calls “one of the major action sequences of the movie”.
That particular segment, which takes place high in the Austrian mountains, is “a jewel in the crown”, according to Wilson, who commended the region for offering “everything that we needed to pull it off”.

Supporting cast members Léa Seydoux and Dave Bautista offer their thoughts on production so far, with production manager Martin Joy weighing up the challenges of shooting in such remote circumstances.
“There’s all the difficulties of going somewhere that’s so cut off, coupled with the weather difficulties, the altitude,” he says, “but the payoff is stunning scenery and an incredible location.”
And for those who want more of a glimpse of how “Spectre” might eventually turn out, there’s a three-second shot of Daniel Craig as Bond involved in the climax of a life-or-death struggle.
That accompanies the first still image of Daniel Craig as Bond of “Spectre”.
A November 6 release beckons for North American and international audiences, while those in the UK and Ireland will be privy from October 23. — AFP-Relaxnews
