NEW YORK, Feb 4 — Jeremy Renner reportedly told his ex-wife to “get a job” when she demanded child support payments.

The Oscar nominated actor split from spouse Sonni Pacheco in December 2014 after only 11 months of marriage. The former couple have 22-month-old daughter Ava together and they are currently going through the courts to find an arrangement for her care.

According to TMZ, the Canadian model has applied for sole custody of their child, and has also asked for a chunk of “The Hurt Locker” stars fortune.

Sonni claims Jeremy made US$3.5 million (RM12.6 million) last year and has US$13 million in assets. But the documents suggest the 44-year-old told her to “get a job”, however he has been paying it since they separated.

In addition, the beauty is also reportedly asking for US$75,000 in attorney fees on top of US$25,000 for extra legal fees.

However Sonni may not be appealing to Jeremy’s good side after it was revealed she had also written a series of accusations in the document.

She claims Jeremy’s home is unsafe for their daughter as the pool is not properly fenced off and could lead to an accident. She also wrote that her former spouse’s gun collection included one of the fire arms being out in the open behind the bar.

“But we're told when she lived in that house with their child the pool was protected and the guns were all locked up,” the outlet reported.

Sources added to TMZ that Jeremy has given his former love everything she has asked for and that it is just a “ploy” to make a straightforward divorce become expensive.  — Cover Media
