KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 15 — Veteran actor Datuk Mustapha Maarof died of lung complications early today.

He was 79.

Mustapha was buried at the Jalan Ampang Muslim cemetery at 3pm.

Funeral rites were performed at the Tuanku Mizan Armed Forces Hospital in Wangsa Maju after Zohor prayers.

Among those who attended his funeral were Skop Production managing director Datuk Yusof Haslam and actress Aznah Hamid.

On November 25, Mustapha was diagnosed as suffering from lung complications. — Bernama
