NEW YORK, Oct 17 ― Anna Kendrick feels lonely when she cooks for one.

The American actress is currently believed to be single, following a relationship with Edgar Wright that ended last year.

And it seems flying solo is getting tiresome for the 29-year-old, who lamented her status on Twitter.

"Cooking for one sucks because no matter how I portion it I seem to end up wasting food. Also loneliness. (sic)" she complained to her followers.

Luckily her fans rallied around her, offering their services as a dining buddy and providing suggestions such as "have Skype dinner with someone".

Mostly, being single isn't stopping Anna from putting her culinary skills to the test.

"Why do I buy cooking magazines in airports? I might as well be buying porn. I get all excited but there's nothing I can do about it. (sic)," she recently tweeted.

It could be her latest movie role that has caused the star to reflect on love. Anna plays Martha in Mr. Right, a romantic comedy about a girl who falls for a seemingly perfect guy - who just so happens to be a hit man.

Joining her for the feature are RZA, Tim Roth and Sam Rockwell.

And with Mr. Right due out next year, Anna won't have much time to wallow. She's also busy promoting Pitch Perfect 2, which has a May 2015 release date.

Elizabeth Banks directs the sequel to the popular 2012 film, and Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp and Brittany Snow will reprise their roles, while Hailee Steinfeld also joins the cast. — Cover Media
