LOS ANGELES, October 3 — Showtime announced that its three mid-season shows will premiere new seasons on January 11, 2015.

Slated to enter its fifth season, “Shameless” is among the cable network’s star comedies. William H. Macy stars as an alcoholic single father, joined by Emmy Rossum as the eldest of his six children.

The dramatic comedy “House of Lies” will enter its fourth season in January, still headlined by Don Cheadle in the role for which he won a Golden Globe in 2013. The series revolves around day-to-day operations at a successful management consultancy firm with some questionable business practices.

Finally, “Episodes,” also in its fourth season, is a satire set in the TV industry and featuring “Friends” star Matt LeBlanc as a version of himself. — AFP-Relaxnews
