LOS ANGELES, August 1 — With Youtube being the best place to watch music videos on demand, they’ve released a top ten list of the most viewed clips so far of 2014. It’s probably no surprise that Katy Perry’s ‘Dark Horse’ came out on top with close to 500 million views to date. Shakira holds the second and third spot with ‘Can’t Remember To Forget You’ and her world cup song ‘La La La’.

Jessie J has released a statement noting that her third studio album is going to be different from her previous two, because she’s “found her feet” musically, and hopes that “this is the album to make a change.” With its release later this year, she’s also been busy collaborating with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj with the track ‘Bang Bang’.

And finally, Hilary Duff is making a comeback, with her new song ‘Chasing The Sun’ leaking online recently. To plug the leak though, Hilary released the video for the song just hours later, after all, if people are already listening to it, you may as well rack up the play counts. The video sees her dreaming about hitting the beach and is her first release since 2007’s ‘Dignity’. — Cover Media
