LONDON, July 30 — With the live-action remake of the classic story ‘Jungle Book’ well underway, it seems that almost every week a huge star signs on to the clearly loved project.
The current cast consists of Sir Ben Kingsley as the panther Bagheera, Idris Elba playing the tiger Shere Khan, Scarlett Johansson as the hypnotizing snake Kaa and Lupita Nyong’o as one of the wolves in the pack.
But now Christopher Walken has just been added to voice King Louie, the jazz loving ruler of a group of apes. Meanwhile, ‘Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito will be the voice behind Akela, the leader of the wolf pack.
All these big names are voices of the animated animals who raise Mowgli an orphaned human in an Indian jungle, who will be played by new comer Neel Sethi.

But the star line-up doesn’t stop there as ‘Iron Man’ director Jon Favreau is set to direct the film, which is scheduled for release in October 2015. — Cover Media
