Born in Hawaii, but to Australian parents, Nicole Kidman is known as one of Hollywood's best from Down Under. The family moved back across the globe when she was just four-years-old.

A born performer, she was enrolled in ballet classes from three and has been described as a natural actress since primary school. Nicole then went on to study at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, where she met fellow actress Naomi Watts.

Naturally fair skinned and red haired, the strong sun in Australia forced Kidman to stay inside a lot, giving her little distractions from rehearsals, earning her more encouragement and praise to pursue her acting full-time.

And it paid off as at just 16 she made her film debut, and she hasn't stopped since, with a release more or less every year since 1983. Which is certainly not anything to complain about, nor is it anything to tire of. ― Cover Media
