LOS ANGELES, July 7 — According to TV Line, the rocker will appear in several episodes of the seventh and final season of FX's biker series.

After Marylin Manson, another American rock star has boarded the cast of "Sons of Anarchy." Courtney Love will play Ms. Harrison, a preschool teacher who takes a special interest in Abel, the son of Charlie Human, aka Jax. Slated to debut in the fourth episode of season 7, the character will be part of a multi-episode story arc and will likely interact with the boy's mother, who is played by Drea de Matteo ("Desperate Housewives," "The Sopranos").

Kurt Cobain's widow is no stranger to film acting, and she even earned a Golden Globe nomination in 1997 for her role in "Larry Flint." But this will be her first ever TV role.

The news of Love's arrival coincides with the release of the first teaser for the coming season. In this dark and gritty video, Jax rides along the highway as the image of a skull flashes across his face.

As announced recently by the show's creator Kurt Sutter, the seventh season will also mark the return of the transsexual prostitute Venus Van Damme. Played by Walton Goggins ("The Shield," "Justified") and first introduced in the fifth season, the character also appeared in two episodes of season six and is expected to return during the show's final run.
