LOS ANGELES, June 18 — Ryan Gosling has pranked over a million people recently, or at least someone has fooled a million people into thinking Ryan Gosling has pranked them all.

A Facebook account seemingly belonging to “The Place Beyond The Pines” star posted a story about the 33-year-old actor adopting a baby boy soon after the tragic death of the child’s mother.

The fraudster even shared a photo of the star holding a baby and tried to pass it off as authentic, captioning it as “This father’s day, I’ve decided to tell the story of how I became a father.”

The account, which is yet to be verified, has over 170 thousand likes, however the touching story has over a million, with close to 60 thousand shares.

To add insult to injury though, the joker added a link where fans could buy a T-shirt and all proceeds would go towards the Orphanage Home Foundation, a foundation that doesn’t even exist.

And that’s not even the end, buying a T-shirt supposedly entered you into a raffle where you could win a date with the actor turned director.

Since the post is fraudulent, the link has now been removed, but the story and photo still seem to be circling the inter webs. — Cover Media
