LOS ANGELES, June 7 — After the tragic death of “Fast and Furious” star Paul Walker in a car crash last November, his brothers Caleb and Cody Walker stepped in to help finish the production of the seventh film in the massive action franchise, due out in April of next year.
Now new reports indicate that Cody, the youngest of the Walker boys, has been asked to return for future instalments of the series, playing, appropriately enough, the younger brother of Paul’s character.
In “Fast & Furious 7”, Caleb and Cody will serve as body doubles for their famous sibling, with computer technology putting Paul’s face over their own as they act in scenes with stars like Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Michelle Rodriguez.
The death of the eldest Walker brother has led to quite a bit of offscreen drama as well, including a battle between his mother and his ex over custody of his daughter Meadow, and a lawsuit against Porsche, the makers of the car that Walker and friend Roger Rodas were driving when they crashed. — Cover Media
