LOS ANGELES, June 5 —Topping the news a lot lately, George Clooney has already turned from an actor to a writer and director, then he created his own brand of rum, and now he’s looking at another career change, this time, fitting his feet into the massive shoes of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
A known humanitarian, ‘The Monuments Man’ supported US president Barack Obama’s re-election back in 2012, but now reports suggest that the clearly multitalented star is pulling together some plans to make his political interests more official, that is, after he marries his fiancée Amal Alamuddin.
A source close to the legend has said that “he wants to do more humanitarian work and hopes to join the Democrats’ 2016 election campaign.”
Although similar claims were made in 2012, with Clooney insisting that he had “no interest”, new reports seem to say that his lawyer fiancée has had a huge influence on his career path, with a friend explaining that “now he has Amal by his side it will give him more credibility to run for office.”
But before any of that can happen, their wedding ceremony is thought to be planned for September at George’s home in Italy. — Cover Media
