LOS ANGELES, May 25 — Leonardo DiCaprio has apparently switched careers and he’s now an interstellar travel agent, and business is looking good.

The ‘Wolf Of Wall Street’ star recently sold a voyage to the moon for almost US$1 million (RM3.2 million) at an annual auction in France. The event raises money for AIDS research charities, and sources have suggested that Leo donated a huge amount to the cause.

The ‘Inception’ actor also sees himself as somewhat of a tour guide as well, since he will also be joining the winning bidder on the trip, currently set for 2015. So it’s not just a trip to the moon, it’s a trip to the stars, with the stars.

Sharon Stone, Jessica Chastain John Travolta and Kellan Lutz were also all in attendance at the auction.

Also present to support the cause were 40 models all wearing red gowns in honour of AIDS awareness. However a Russian businessman must have thought he was at a very up market strip-club as he paid a little under US$4.8 million for the models to take off their dresses and give them to his wife.

So all in all, it was a good night and has surely raised a fortune for a very worthy cause. — Cover Media
