LOS ANGELES, May 8 ― “American Hustle” star Bradley Cooper showed off his unbelievable weight gain on the red carpet recently.

Unlike this years Oscar winners who lost tonnes of weight for their roles, this actor, who also sported a full and very bushy beard has had to gain weight for his upcoming role in “American Sniper”, a biopic about a former Navy SEAL which will be directed by Clint Eastwood.

But weight gain looks to be more difficult than stuffing chocolate in your mouth all day. Bradley's problems came when he tried to wear a tuxedo that looks like he's owned since he was skinnier. The award winning actor couldn't even button up his jacket to wobble down the red carpet with dignity.

All jokes aside though, a source close to Cooper has said that “he put on like 40 pounds” in a very short time. Apparently, Bradley “takes this story very personally and wants to do an honourable job.”

Which shouldn't be hard, since Bradley is always the stand out actor in each of his pictures. How else do you get two Oscar and Golden Globe nominations in a row? ― Cover Media
