LOS ANGELES, April 24 — Welcome to 'The Stars' Best Kept Secrets', where we dig deep into the mindset of our favourite celebrities, to bring you the stories you didn't know.

Born to an antique dealer and clothing manufacturer, Jennifer Connelly started modelling at 10 years old and swiftly moved on to TV commercials and from there turned onto the rapid road to Hollywood, but this isn’t about her career, here’s a couple of things you probably didn’t know about this lovely lady.

Although Jennifer is fluent in French and Italian, her agent had the idea for her to cut a record in Japan, where all the lyrics are spelt phonetically to make it easier for her to sing. To this day, she may not know what it is she sang about.

The animators of Disney’s 1992 movie ‘Aladdin’, based the appearance of Princess Jasmine’s on the lovely Jennifer, it’s just a wonder who Robin William’s character was based on.

And finally, it turns out that although she’s been voted one of the sexiest women in show business many times, she’s also a bit of a geek. Connelly has a passion for mathematics as well as software and development. She also used the pseudonym ‘ecksor’ while surfing the web, an incredibly nerdy term used in computer security.

Although she’s an Oscar winner, who starred next to the likes Russell Crowe a handful of times and has a career spanning three decades, Jennifer Connelly has managed to stay out of the celebrity spotlight, while at the same time being handed the best roles around. And it’s easy to see why as there’s never a dull moment when she’s on our screens. — Cover Media
