LOS ANGELES, April 16 — Rapper turned actor Ice Cube claims he was “robbed” at the MTV movie awards, when late actor Paul Walker and ‘Fast and Furious’ co-star Vin Diesel were awarded the Best Onscreen Duo trophy.
Cube felt that the award should have gone to him and his ‘Ride Along’ co-star Kevin Heart, as he tweeted that they “were the best onscreen duo, period”.
The sore loser then proceeded to “shame” MTV, saying that they should have honoured Walker “before he passed away” instead of giving him the sympathy vote months later.
What makes matters worse is Ice actually left the ceremony, claiming that he’s “been going in and out of these things for 25 years. As soon as you get bored, get up and leave.”
Obviously, fans were upset by the comments, and after a little while Ice Cube explained that he was just upset at MTV for giving Paul the award too late, tweeting that he “would never diss the actors who won. Not even Paul Walker.”
The last tweets only added insult to injury, as it seemed more like he was just trying to cover up his bad sportsmanship, or he can’t control his mouth when he’s upset. — Cover Media
