LOS ANGELES, March 29 — Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan, Jason Segel, Josh Radnor and Cobie Smulders, along with the creators of the comedy, took the time to thank their loyal fans before the final episode of “How I Met Your Mother,” which airs Monday, March 31 at 8pm EST on CBS.

Since September 19, 2005, American audiences have tuned in every Monday night to follow Ted Mosby’s search for his one true love. The New Yorker divides his time between his job as an architect and his close-knit group of friends: Lily, Marshall, Barney and Robin.
After nine years of ups and downs on the road to romance, chronicled in 208 episodes, Ted will finally meet his future wife — the future mother of his two children — on March 31. Along with Ted’s son and daughter, audiences will finally get to hear the end of the story the character has been telling for nearly a decade. — AFP-Relaxnews
