LOS ANGELES, Jan 16 ― The actress and singer will appear in “Younger,” a new series created by Darren Star and slated to air on TV Land, Deadline.com reports.

“Younger” will focus on Liza, a recently separated, 40-something New Jersey housewife who is struggling to pick up her career where she left off. Her fortunes change when she decides to lie about her age and lands a job in a prestigious New York publishing house.

Hilary Duff will play Kelsey, Liza’s new 29-year-old colleague, who welcomes her into the fold without realising she is a decade older. The show's title character will be played by Broadway musical star Sutton Foster.

“Younger” is based on the book of the same name, published by Pamela Redmond Satran in 2005. The series could allow Darren Star to return to success following the enormous popularity of “Sex and the City.” ― AFP-Relaxnews
