LOS ANGELES, Jan 16 — The actress Elizabeth Banks plays a TV journalist making her way home after a one-night stand in this comedy, which arrives in theatres this spring.

Premiered exclusively on Yahoo!Movies, the trailer for “Walk of Shame” shows Elizabeth Banks in the role of Meghan Miles, a stressed out TV journalist who is dragged to a nightclub by her girlfriends and ends up having a one-night stand.

The next day, she learns that the evening’s newscast will be watched by network bigwigs, meaning that it will provide the big break she’s been waiting for. Embarking upon the proverbial “walk of shame” back to her place, she is confronted with a series of unfortunate events that make the journey much more complicated than initially planned.

James Marsden plays the male lead in this comedy directed by Steven Brill (“Drillbit Taylor”). “Walk of Shame” arrives in North American theaters on April 25. — AFP/Relaxnews
