LOS ANGELES, July 19 — After several months in the development stages, the new sitcom “Togetherness” has moved into the fast lane. HBO has ordered eight episodes, although viewers will have to wait until 2014 to see them.

Filming on the show will begin early next year in Los Angeles, according to Deadline.com.
The sitcom follows four friends living under one roof in Los Angeles. Amanda Peet will play the energetic, funny and mischievous Tina Morris, who leaves Houston to move in with her sister Michelle and Michelle’s husband Brett. The trio will be joined by Alex, a friend of Brett’s who needs a place to stay.
Amanda Peet, recently seen in “How I Met Your Mother” and “The Good Wife,” will act alongside Melanie Lynskey (“Two and a Half Men”), Steve Zissis (“Private Practice”) and Mark Duplass, the show’s co-creator. — AFP/Relaxnews
