NEW YORK, Nov 21 — After initially announcing in April its plans to release a new anthology of Winnie-the-Pooh tales, publisher Egmont has now revealed the title and the authors that will be included.
Coming next October, the book of four stories will be called The Best Bear in All the World, reports The Bookseller, and will mark the 90th anniversary of A. A. Milne’s Winnie-The-Pooh, released in 1926.
Paul Bright (Quiet), Jeanne Willis (The Bog Baby), Kate Saunders (winner of the Costa Children’s Prize for Five Children on the Western Front) and Brian Sibley (Three Cheers for Pooh) have now been announced as the authors of the four stories.
Mark Burgess was already on board to illustrate the text in the style of original illustrator E. H. Shepard. — AFP-Relaxnews
