KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 — Datuk Seri Saripuddin Kasim has stepped down from his role as chairman of Malaysia Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) to pursue other interests, effective March 1, 2026.

In a statement today, MRT Corp expressed its gratitude to Saripuddin for his leadership and guidance during his tenure as chairman and wished him “the very best in his future endeavours.”

Saripuddin was appointed as MRT Corp chairman on November 19, 2025. — Bernama
