KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 14 — The government has decided to maintain the anti-dumping duties imposed earlier on imports of cellulose fibre reinforced cement flat and pattern sheets originating or exported from Thailand-based Shera Public Co Ltd after completing an administrative review.

The Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (Miti) said Shera Public Co Ltd had requested for the administrative review based on the grounds that the dumping margin of the subject merchandise originating or exported by the company had changed substantially.

"(The Malaysian government has) made the final determination to terminate the administrative review investigation on the subject merchandise for reasons that the information provided in the administrative review is inaccurate to prove that the dumping margin has changed substantially,” it said in a statement today.

Therefore, Miti added, the existing anti-dumping duties imposed on subject merchandise originating from or exported by Shera Public Co Ltd will remain unchanged and in force until the expiry of the measure on September 23, 2024.

The affirmative anti-dumping duties for the subject merchandise was imposed from September 24, 2019, until September 23, 2024, with a range between nil and 31.14 per cent. — Bernama
