KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 21 — Datuk Mohd Zamree Mohd Ishak, the president and chief executive officer (CEO) of credit firm CGC Malaysia was awarded "2018 Outstanding CEO” by the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP).

The award presented yesterday seeks to recognise dynamic chiefs of development financial institutions.

Zamree was awarded for championing the national agenda of financial inclusion for small and medium enterprises (SME), and Malaysia’s first online SME financing and loan referral platform, imSME.

The award was presented at a gala dinner and awards night held in conjunction with ADFIAP’s annual meeting in New Delhi, attended by 130 delegates from 91 member institutions representing 36 countries.
