KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 12 — Bursa Malaysia Bhd announces that it will implement a half-day trading closure on the eve of the Chinese New Year (CNY) on Thursday and all-day closure on Friday.

The stock exchange said trading on Thursday would be opened for the morning session only and there would be no trading in the afternoon session.

Trading will resume operations on Monday, it said in a statement today.

"However, Clearing and Settlement services provided by Bursa Malaysia Securities Clearing; depository services provided by Bursa Malaysia Depository; and clearing and settlement operations of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Bhd will continue as usual on Thursday.

"The office of Bursa Malaysia Securities will remain open until the end of business day,” it said. — Bernama
