Gold futures contracts lower at midday

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 7 — Gold futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives was lower at midday today with two contract months traded. 

At midday, December 2016 declined 16 ticks to RM175.30 a gramme and February 2017 eased one tick to RM176 a gramme. 

Meanwhile, spot month November 2016 and January 2017 remained pegged at RM175.70 and RM175.95 a gramme, respectively. 

Turnover stood at two lots, while open interest amounted to 256 contracts.  — Bernama
